Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Position Summary Family Walk-In Clinic is seeking a compassionate, motivated Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care and same-day walk-in services for patients of all ages. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with a team dedicated to clinical excellence and outstanding customer service. Required Qualifications Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Current Colorado APRN license in good standing National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to employment) Current BLS certification Eligible for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced primary care and walk-in environment Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in primary care, family practice, urgent care, or walk-in medicine DOT Medical Examiner Certification or willingness to obtain certification within the first six months of employment Experience performing common office procedures, including laceration repair, incision and drainage, joint injections, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and splinting Primary Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions Perform preventive health examinations and wellness visits Order, interpret, and manage laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic testing Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records Educate patients regarding disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices Collaborate effectively with medical assistants, reception staff, and fellow providers to ensure efficient patient flow Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and respect for every patient Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to perform routine clinical procedures Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to use computers and electronic medical record systems throughout the workday Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $109,940 - $149,570 Annual Bonus/Commission: Yes
