The UPS Store is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team. This role is primarily customer-facing, assisting clients with shipping, printing, and other business service needs while delivering a consistent five-star customer experience.

This location also supports a hotel and conference environment, so the role includes assisting hotel guests and handling package deliveries for guest rooms and meeting spaces. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, able to take direction well, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail and hospitality setting. Previous experience at The UPS Store is highly valued but not required.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a five-star service experience for every customer
• Assist customers with shipping, packaging, printing, and retail products
• Serve hotel guests and conference attendees with business center and shipping needs
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Accept, organize, and distribute incoming packages and shipments
• Coordinate package retrieval and delivery to hotel guest rooms and meeting spaces when required
• Answer customer questions and guide them through available services
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment
• Follow operational procedures and take direction from store management
• Support team members to ensure smooth daily store operations

Required Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to take direction and follow established procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to lift packages up to 40 lbs when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience at The UPS Store
• Retail or POS transaction experience
• Experience in shipping, hospitality, or customer service environments

Work Environment

• Customer-facing retail and hospitality environment with frequent interaction with guests and clients
• Requires standing for extended periods
• Occasional lifting of packages and materials
• Occasional weekend & holiday availability may be required based on business needs
