Key Responsibilities\n

• Effectively manage crises that may arise during therapy sessions, utilizing de-escalation techniques and providing crisis support to both patients and milieu staff.

• Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation, adhering to best practices for integrity and quality of care by documenting assessments and treatment plans at the time of service.

• Build therapeutic rapport with patients and their families, conducting thorough assessments to evaluate suicidality and assess potential risks to self or others.

• Facilitate admission assessments and the onboarding process for new patients, embodying professionalism and compassion at every touchpoint.

• Engage in weekly treatment team meetings to discuss progress and set treatment goals, facilitating a cohesive approach to client care.

• Conduct utilization reviews for insurance companies, providing necessary clinical information to secure authorizations for initial and continued treatment.
\n
• Respond promptly to family inquiries, maintaining open lines of communication and returning calls and emails within specified time frames to ensure that families feel supported throughout the treatment process.

• Coordinate with various departments regarding service authorizations and financial matters to maintain continuity of care for patients.

• Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission and conduct discharge sessions to equip patients with coping skills, transition plans, and resources necessary for a successful post-treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program is required.

• An independent mental health licensure in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is mandatory for this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
