What You’ll Be Doing As a Permitting Specialist, you’ll support the design and documentation of fiber optic networks while learning from experienced engineers and designers. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with client and industry standards. You’ll work in a collaborative, in-office environment where focus, quality, and growth are valued. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with senior engineers to develop project designs and specifications Prepare and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD and related tools Assist with project scheduling and task coordination Conduct site inspections and field assessments as needed Prepare technical documentation and reports Support construction management activities by coordinating with contractors Perform GIS analysis to support project planning and execution Maintain organized, accurate project files and documentation Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the engineering team What You Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or GIS (required) Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting tools Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills Ability to follow established processes and technical standards Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt in a fast‑paced setting Preferred Exposure to telecommunications concepts such as outside plant (OSP) or fiber optic design Familiarity with GIS tools and data analysis Internship or early‑career experience in engineering or design environments Ready to Build Something That Matters?
