Job Title

Travel RN – Med Surg ICU – Nights

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights – 3x12 | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans within a combined Med Surg ICU and Stepdown unit
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition changes to the appropriate care team members
• Serve as primary coordinator across all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Float to other areas of the unit as needed based on census and acuity

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of ICU or Med Surg ICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to work night shifts and weekend hours as needed
• Willingness and ability to float as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Familiarity with Spacelab bedside monitoring equipment
• Experience in a combined ICU and Stepdown unit environment
