Night Shift Production Supervisor

The Night Shift Production Supervisor will lead manufacturing operations during the 7:45 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. shift in Tennille, GA, following a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Job Description The Production Supervisor is a critical position within our Plant Operations. This hands‑on leadership role requires coaching, mentoring, and motivating the team to meet safety, quality, service, cost, and production targets. Key Responsibilities Direct supervision of daily operations such as staffing, quality control, and schedule adherence. Hold the team accountable for following established procedures and conduct standards. Enable the team to drive process improvements and maintain effective employee relations. Balance quality, safety, morale, productivity, and cost to achieve positive results. Responsible for training, qualification, proficiency, and overall performance management of employees. Build a team dedicated to excellence, open communication, and shared voice. Identify improvement opportunities and communicate challenges and solutions. Qualifications Reliable and punctual team player. 3–5+ years of production experience in manufacturing, with direct reports and shop floor accountability. Experience in scrap management, safety behaviors, and quality controls to increase site efficiency and reduce turnover. Strong leadership skills, adaptability, and urgency in prioritizing tasks. Knowledge of workforce scheduling, overtime management, and labor deployment practices. Excellent multi‑tasking skills and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Hands‑on experience in a lean manufacturing plant (5S, tier meetings, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Gemba walk, lead standard work) is a plus. Results‑oriented, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, with excellent communication skills. Associate degree or higher preferred but not required. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ERP/SAP experience is a plus. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from $53,500 to $99,000 per year, with additional short‑ and long‑term incentive compensation.
