Production Food Manager

Title: Chef Production Manager Hola Island Provisions is looking for an effective Production Manager, as a manager your main responsibilities are to ensure the efficient and timely production of our Food products, management of production staff, as well as helping with other various tasks related to our production process like overseeing packaging and quality control checks. This opportunity is perfect for someone looking to get experience manufacturing CPG products. An ideal candidate will have a Better Process Control school course or be willing to enroll in coursework to achieve required production certifications! Responsibilities Assisting in the production line of our Caribbean spice blends with your unique insights to help us increase quality and production capacity Ensuring all products are correctly labeled and stored throughout the entire production process Perform product quality control checks, ensuring they meet company guidelines and standards. Assistance in maintaining inventory counts and restocking materials as needed. Adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations and procedures. (Hair net and bread nets) Assisting in the management and scheduling of production assistants Liaising with other managers to formulate strategic objectives, prepare budgets, and promote efficient workflows for all employees enabling deadlines to be met. Job Timeline & Pay 10-day training 5 days of working closely with the GM to learn and collaborate to understand what is required, followed by 5 days of on-the-job training to get practical experience in a controlled setting $16-20/hr. Desired Qualifications Experience managing worker recruitment, hiring, and shift staffing Organized individual who thrives in fast-paced environments Enjoys working with a team but can think independently Positive attitude and willingness to learn Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Outstanding communication ability Excellent organizational and leadership skills Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Excellent with communication and problem-solving Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
