We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and inspiring Unit Manager (LPN or RN) to lead a dedicated nursing team and oversee the daily operations of two of our skilled nursing units. SHIFT: 8am-4:30pm, on call every 4th weekend

What You'll Do
As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and leadership of your nursing units, ensuring the highest standards of resident care and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise nursing department staff
- Ensure physician orders are accurately followed and implemented
- Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, conditions, and quality of care
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff through education and performance feedback
- Support orientation and onboarding of new employees
- Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Participate in care planning and quality assurance initiatives
- Address resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Promote restorative nursing practices and resident independence
- Maintain compliance with infection control, medication management, and regulatory requirements
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and hospitality
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Current Indiana RN or LPN license
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience , preferably in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing
- Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members
- Passion for serving older adults and improving quality of life
