Physical Therapist Assistant- Outpatient

Location: Bala Cynwyd, PA

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday. No Weekends!

Compensation: Hourly rate is between $28-$32 based on your experience.

Established outpatient PT clinic with 10 Physical Therapists, 2 Occupational Therapists, plus front desk staff. Looking to add a PTA. Diverse patient mix with ortho, sports medicine and vestibular/post-concussion. Mentorship provided for new grads.

We are looking for a dynamic physical therapist assistant who would like to perform therapy both in an outpatient clinic with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. Additionally, you will gain experience providing exceptional patient care as part of an industry-leading clinical team. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a large network of specialists, more than 140 clinicians. Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
