Finance Manager

Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Finance Manager to oversee cost center finances, planning, and analysis for the Transcatheter Heart Valve business unit in Irvine, California. The role involves month-end close activities, financial reporting, compliance with healthcare regulations, and strategic partnership with business leaders.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close including journal entries, financial measures review, and cost center reporting
- Develop business unit-specific reports on commissions, rebates, and competitive analyses
- Advise managers on complex financial planning and resource allocation within budget constraints
- Assess financial data to identify variances and opportunities for course correction
- Ensure regulatory compliance and provide audit documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Minimum eight years related finance experience or six years with master's degree
- Advanced Excel and MS Office Suite proficiency
- Strong understanding of Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow statements
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations (Sunshine Act, SOX, GAAP, SEC, IRS)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
Compensation: $105,000-$148,000 base
