Industrial Maintenance Technician

Shift: 2nd, Monday - Friday 2:30PM - 11:00PM

Reports to: Randy Bishop

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Utilize solvents, and high-pressure water blasters for industrial cleaning.
• Perform manual scraping and chipping to clean surfaces such as walls, hoses, windows, grates, lights, robots, etc.
• Execute minor maintenance as needed.
• Vacuum and wipes the interior and exterior of equipment.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming, and shoveling.
• Perform other specialized paint booth cleaning tasks as required.
• Perform lock out/tag out of equipment for safe entry into energized areas of the paint shop.
• Perform safe entry into confined space areas needing to be cleaned.
• Perform general janitorial duties including office and restroom cleaning.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school Diploma/GED
• Stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time and reach within 6" of the ground for extended periods of time.
• Climb ladders and stairs without difficulty.
• Lift, carry and pull equipment weighing up to 75lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Push / Pull Heavy Weights
• Ability to work in enclosed spaces
