Mechanic/Machinist Position

Job Responsibilities:

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines
Program, set up, and operate CNC mill and lathe
Work from drawings, instructions, blueprints, or measurements
Take precise measurements for cutting and shaping
Selects appropriate machines and settings to complete assignment
Responsible for following all safety regulations and complying with SOPs, DEEP, OSHA, FDA, and cGMPs.
Attend in-house training sessions
Additional tasks as directed

Qualifications/Skills:

Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in a factory environment
CNC and manual machining experience
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in math
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school degree or equivalent
Experience with production machinery troubleshooting and repair
Experience working with machine tools and mechanical assembly
CNC and manual machining experience
Working knowledge of safety protocols
Apprenticeship or vocational training preferred
