Registered Nurse Outpatient

Inova VIP 360 is looking for a dedicated RN Outpatient to join the team. This role will be FT, day shift Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Work locations: Ideal candidate will be able to float between Fair Oaks and Lansdowne locations:

Greater than 1 year of RN experience is preferred.

The Registered Nurse Outpatient provides safe/therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way in a physician practice or other outpatient setting. Incorporates differences into the provision of care while integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families to include patient and family education. Achieves desired patient outcomes by using an integrated approach. Incorporates data and information to improve care and enhances outcomes while ensuring improvements in practice settings. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice while serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Triage
• Vision and hearing tests
• Vaccines
• Injections

Additional Requirements:

• Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
• Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
