Desktop Support Engineer
A large industrial organization is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide dedicated onsite technology support for employees at a local facility. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day end-user issues while supporting an active technology migration.
The Desktop Support Engineer will provide hands-on technical support for laptops, virtual desktop environments, printers, applications, and user access. This position requires someone who can follow established procedures while independently troubleshooting issues when standard steps do not resolve the problem.
The ideal candidate combines strong desktop support fundamentals with excellent customer service and is comfortable assisting users in a busy onsite environment.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a local facility. The position requires consistent onsite availability. Candidates who live elsewhere in Michigan may be considered if they can remain near the facility during the workweek.
