Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our information systems and protecting our networks from threats and attacks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various cybersecurity areas, including barracuda, information security, VPN, firewall, active directory, Linux, artificial intelligence, Microsoft 365, support, vulnerability assessment, firewalls, and SIEM.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze our networks for any unusual activities or potential threats and respond promptly to any security breaches.
• Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and active directories.
• Use Barracuda and other cybersecurity tools to protect sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments to identify potential weaknesses and implement solutions to address them.
• Use SIEM to manage security incidents and events and provide real-time analysis of security alerts.
• Work with artificial intelligence to predict potential threats and improve our security measures.
• Provide support to other team members and train them on best practices for information security.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest security trends and threats and implement necessary updates to our security systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the overall security of our information systems and networks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Expertise in Barracuda, information security, VPN, firewall, active directory, Linux, artificial intelligence, Microsoft 365, support, vulnerability assessment, firewalls, and SIEM.
• Strong knowledge of current security risks and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and react to security breaches.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical team members.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ will be an added advantage.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
