Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Interventional Radiology team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing conscious sedation, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient vitals during interventional procedures.
• Chart patient care and maintain accurate medical records using EPIC.
• Circulate and assist during interventional radiology procedures such as stroke thrombectomy, embolizations, biopsies, and line insertions.
• Provide pre and post-procedure patient education and support.
• Coordinate with the interventional team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with moderate sedation is essential.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
• Familiarity with EPIC and Philips Xper (Hemo) systems is preferred.

Work Environment:

• The department operates two labs with an average of 5-10 cases per day.
• Hours include a mix of 10-hour and 8-hour shifts, with scheduling posted 17 days in advance for six-week periods.
• On-call rotation includes weeknight, weekend, and holiday requirements.

Additional Information:

• Orientation duration: One week of classroom and lab training.
• Proper scrub color and dress code will be provided.
• Lockers are available; please bring your own lock and designated hospital shoes.
