Automotive Test Technician

Location: Rochester, MI (Onsite)
Pay: $35.67 per hour
Schedule: 2nd or 3rd Shift, 10-hour shifts (Wednesday–Saturday or Sunday–Wednesday)

Are you a skilled Automotive Technician or someone with strong mechanical testing experience ? We're looking for an Automotive Test Technician to join our team in Rochester, MI! In this role, you'll perform mechanical testing on automotive components and products, ensuring they meet quality, performance, and reliability standards.

What You'll Do

• Perform mechanical testing on automotive parts and components.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate testing equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble test components before and after testing.
• Conduct performance, environmental, and operational tests.
• Record, analyze, and document test results.
• Retest products when necessary to verify performance.
• Maintain testing equipment and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Enter and maintain accurate testing data.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support product development and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or technical degree preferred.
• Experience in mechanical testing or as an Automotive Technician .
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using hand tools, measuring tools, and testing equipment.
• Ability to accurately document test results and follow detailed procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
