Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will provide critical care to patients requiring advanced medical interventions. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, administering treatment, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients.
• Utilize advanced monitoring and treatment equipment.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as required.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech.
• Assist with central line placements, intubations, and other ICU procedures.
• Participate in patient care planning and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas. (Temporary licenses not accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• CCRN certification preferred.
