Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienist needed! Christie Dental of Merritt Island is growing and adding a hygienist to the team. Office hours are Monday & Wednesday 7:45am-4:00pm, Tuesday & Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm, but also open to part time. Why Heartland Dental? Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in FL and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Preferred Experience Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patients’ needs and provide preventative care. Clinical readiness as required by office. 1 year experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods sitting and standing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year. TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (standard requirement, not applicable in FL & TN).
