Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Security Clearance in Huntsville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support critical operations while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization, and document security-related observations and incidents.
• Support the protection of aerospace and defense operations by reporting unusual activity, maintaining accurate logs, and following applicable site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
