You will play a key role in ensuring airworthiness, quality, and on?time delivery for critical engine components.In this role, you will:Execute all manufacturing work with a rigorous focus on safety, quality, and the critical nature of aircraft parts.Perform preliminary, in?process, and final inspections on engine and component partsInspect parts for defects, dimensional accuracy, and compliance to engineering specifications and customer requirementsYou will heavily utilize a computer to navigate through different programs, blueprints, software, and Microsoft productsUse hands and fingers to move parts, use measurement instruments, and manually examine partsRead and interpret OEM manuals, blueprints, and, where applicable, FAA?approved technical dataComplete inspection documentation, including Records of Measurement, certifications, and other required quality recordsVerify traceability and documentation for incoming, in?process, and completed parts to ensure compliance and airworthinessSupport production flow by working closely with operations, shipping, and other partners to meet on?time delivery commitmentsLift and exert 10–25 pounds of force frequently and 20–50 pounds of force occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodationPerform other inspection?related duties as required to support safety, quality, and delivery (SQD)Cross?train to work in all areas of the cell and run other processes as production needs requireTrain other team members on standard work and machine operation as neededIn designated areas, comply with mandatory or random drug testing requirementsAssist in other areas as needed and directed by People LeaderThe Ideal CandidateYou show up reliably, your team counts on youYou're willing to learn multiple roles to support the teamMaintain focus and discipline on the shop floor, avoiding distractions to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time production.Follow all safety rules when using and maintaining shop equipment; pass and maintain required vision testingUse basic and shop math (fractions, decimals, whole numbers) to support accurate, precise workRead and apply technical information and blueprints to produce high?quality partsUse standard measuring tools (manual calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions and prevent defectsFollow written, verbal, and visual instructions to complete work on time and support on?time deliveryUse tools and materials responsibly, help reduce scrap and rework, and raise issues early to support continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQD)Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)At least 6 months of relevant experience in a production, manufacturing, quality, or aerospace environment where safety, precision, and standard work are critical.Experience using manual calipers to perform precise dimensional inspections in a manufacturing environment.Visual acuity sufficient to accurately read micrometers, manual calipers, and other precision measuring instruments, with or without reasonable accommodationBasic computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office applications (such as Outlook and Word) and navigate work instructions or quality documentation systemsThis role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek.
