engineering practices , along with experience designing production-ready systems. \n Essential Duties and Responsibilities \n \n * Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications and backend services. \n * Build scalable Spring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed application components . \n * Write clean, secure, maintainable, and well-documented Java code following established engineering standards. \n * Develop integrations between enterprise systems, databases, cloud services, and external APIs. \n * Optimize application performance, database queries, scalability, and resource utilization. \n * Implement persistence layers using Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, JDBC , or comparable technologies. \n * Develop automated unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito , and related testing frameworks. \n * Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes, and implement sustainable fixes. \n * Participate in software architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and peer code reviews. \n * Support CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud-native application delivery. \n * Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions. \n * Mentor engineering colleagues and contribute to software-development best practices. \n * Improve existing applications through refactoring, modernization, and technical-debt reduction. \n \n Job Qualifications and Requirements \n \n * Minimum 7 years of professional Java Development, Backend Engineering, or closely related software-development experience required. \n * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. \n * Advanced proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented programming, collections, concurrency, multithreading, and JVM fundamentals . \n * Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and Spring Data . \n * Professional experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems . \n * Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server . \n * Knowledge of SQL optimization, Hibernate, JPA, and database design principles . \n * Familiarity with modern Java versions, preferably Java 17 or later . \n * Experience with Maven or Gradle , Git, and modern development workflows. \n * Strong understanding of JUnit, Mockito, automated testing, and test-driven development principles . \n * Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . \n * Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI , or comparable CI/CD technologies. \n * Understanding of authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and secure application development. \n * Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, or event-driven architecture is advantageous. \n * Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). \n * Strong debugging, problem-solving, and technical
