HOUSEKEEPER/Full-time

POSITION SUMMARY:The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sanitizing, and the general appearance of their scheduled area. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining all regulated housekeeping and Infection Control Standards.SCHEDULE:Full-time - 80 hrs per pay period;6am-2:30pmSun, Mon, Thurs-SatESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS:Performs adequate and thorough disinfecting and sanitizing procedures of all horizontal surfaces.Removes/prevents build up on the floors and around the perimeters.Removes biohazard and general garbage from rooms/areas according to policy.Performs adequate bathroom cleaning and sanitation requirements.Performs unit discharge cleaning appropriately and in a timely manner.Removes visible debris from carpeted areas when necessary.Maintains communication with supervisor for area and/or departmental needs or concerns.Uses personal protective equipment as necessary.Follows established room-cleaning guidelines for all areas.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or GED required & Minimum of one year related work experienceAbility to interpret a variety of instructions and communicate in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.Ability to make standard precaution decisions.Ability to address patients, visitors, and co-workers with courtesy, pleasantness and respect. #J-18808-Ljbffr Boundary Community Hospital
