This role prepares, analyzes, reconciles, and reviews financial information to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making while resolving moderately complex accounting issues and supporting continuous improvement efforts.Essential FunctionsPrepare and maintain accurate financial records by recording, reconciling, and reviewing accounting transactions, ledger accounts, and supporting documentationEnsure the integrity and compliance of accounting information through the accurate application of accounting principles, policies, procedures, and internal controlsDeliver timely and reliable financial statements, reports, and schedules that support business operations, financial reporting requirements, and management decision-makingAnalyze and resolve account discrepancies, reconciliation issues, and reporting variances to maintain the accuracy and completeness of financial informationSupport effective financial planning and performance evaluation by providing accurate financial data for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activitiesEvaluate financial records and reporting outputs to identify errors, compliance concerns, and improvement opportunities and recommend appropriate corrective actionsCollaborate with internal departments to support accounting operations, address financial reporting needs, and contribute to accounting projects and process improvement initiativesComply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assignedJob QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent education + experience2 years of related accounting or financial experience or equivalent experiencePreferred QualificationsExposure to working with accounting information systems and ERP platforms (including SAP & Concur)CPA or progress toward certificationSkills and AbilitiesWorking Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting practices, and internal controls typically gained through education and professional accounting experienceExperience working with financial information and maintaining accuracy, completeness, and consistency across accounting records and reportsDemonstrated attention to detail when reviewing financial data, reconciling information, and validating supporting documentationAbility to apply established accounting policies, procedures, and guidelines to address routine and moderately complex accounting mattersExperience managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environmentSound judgment when evaluating accounting information, identifying potential issues, and determining when escalation or additional review is neededAbility to build effective working relationships with team members and business partners to support accounting processes and reporting requirementsExperience supporting process documentation, compliance activities, or continuous improvement efforts within an accounting or finance environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPointWorking ConditionsPhysical DemandsOperating a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workdayMay occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds such as office supplies or equipmentMust be able to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing.Must be able to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with others such as coworkers, customers and vendorsMust be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documents.Environmental FactorsThis position is in an office environment in which team members occupy desks in assigned areas or at meeting/collaboration spaces within the building.
