Pay: $21/hour
Schedule: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM OR 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
Rotation: 8 Days On / 4 Days Off

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Onsite Vacuum Operator for a local oil and gas company serving Wheeling, WV and surrounding areas . This full-time field position is ideal for candidates with experience in oil and gas, well sites, vacuum operations, water transfer, flowback, drill-out operations, or industrial field service .


The Onsite Vacuum Operator will work at active oil and gas well sites , operating vacuum and water-based equipment and supporting field operations. This is a physically demanding outdoor position requiring the ability to work long shifts in changing weather conditions while maintaining a strong focus on job site safety and equipment operation .

Onsite Vacuum Operator Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum trucks, vacuum equipment, water-based equipment, and related field equipment at oil and gas well sites.
• Support drill-out, flowback, water management, and well site operations .
• Handle and work extensively with water during oil and gas field operations.
• Safely operate and monitor equipment throughout assigned shifts.
• Assist with loading, unloading, transferring, and managing water and other materials.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all oil and gas industry safety procedures, site-specific requirements, and company policies .
• Work safely around heavy equipment, active well sites, vehicles, hoses, and industrial machinery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and remain physically active throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and field crews.

Onsite Vacuum Operator Qualifications

• Previous oil and gas industry experience preferred .
• Experience operating vacuum equipment, vacuum trucks, water transfer equipment, pumps, hoses, or similar industrial field equipment is a plus.
• Experience with well site operations, flowback, drill-out, water management, or production operations preferred.
• Ability to work independently in an outdoor field service environment .
• Must be willing to travel to Wheeling, WV and surrounding oil and gas job sites as needed.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on an 8-days-on/4-days-off rotation.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions .
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong commitment to workplace and job-site safety.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Working Conditions


This is an active oil and gas field position and requires employees to:

• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Work around water, mud, dirt, heavy equipment, machinery, and industrial operations.
• Stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Work 12-hour day or night shifts.
• Wear required PPE , including steel-toe boots.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen .
