Impella Pump Systems Test Engineering Co-Op

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Systems Test Engineering Co-Op to support development and testing of Impella Pump cardiac devices in Danvers, Massachusetts. The role involves executing integration and regression test plans, documenting technical findings, and collaborating across quality, regulatory, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute system-level integration and regression test plans for Impella devices
• Support change control and release activities including verification evidence preparation and documentation updates
• Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, regulatory, software, and manufacturing teams on verification strategies
• Assist with system-level risk assessments, CAPA investigations, and regulatory submissions

Requirements

• Junior, senior, or graduate student in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or systems engineering
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or comparable CAD software preferred
• Strong design, testing, and analytical skills including engineering and statistical analysis
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail
• Permanent U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $23.50-$52.50 per hour
