Branch Coordinator

Job Summary As a Branch Coordinator at Accendra Health, you positively impact patients and caregivers by delivering excellent customer service and ensuring accurate order processing. You work collaboratively with patients, providers, and the branch team to receive, process, and bill orders efficiently. The role involves phone and in‑person interactions, insurance verification, equipment authorization, and customer satisfaction follow‑ups. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for patients arriving in person. Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi‑line phone system; provide information, troubleshoot common issues, and collaborate with the branch team to resolve queries. Process orders, including creation, review across multiple systems, appointment confirmation, insurance verification, and equipment authorization according to payor guidelines. Monitor incoming faxes and perform data entry. Gather required documentation from sales, referrals, or patients to meet insurance guidelines. Request health plan authorizations electronically or verbally. Review new and recurring patient accounts and obtain documents to enable insurance billing. Collect credit card payments, reconcile daily receivables, and submit to the lock box. Conduct outbound customer satisfaction calls to patients and referrals. Perform downloads and functional tests on respiratory equipment (e.g., apnea monitors, oximeters, CPAP devices) as needed. Perform additional duties as required by the branch. Minimum Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. At least one year of related work experience. Proficiency in multiple computer systems and intermediate to advanced computer skills. Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Intermediate mathematical skills. Preferred Qualifications At least two years of experience in an office environment, healthcare setting, or call center. Experience using a multi‑line phone system. Physical Demands The role requires frequent use of hands, fine motor skills, reaching, stooping, and occasional lifting of objects up to 40 lbs. Reading, writing, and hearing are essential. The work environment is an office setting with moderate noise and indoor lighting.
