Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation Nursing Position

Provide specialized rehabilitation nursing care to patients in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. This role involves managing a variety of acute care rehabilitation cases, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through compassionate, skilled nursing interventions.

Deliver direct nursing care to rehabilitation patients, including wound management, IV therapy, and patient transfers. Assess patient conditions regularly, monitor progress, and modify care plans as needed in collaboration with the healthcare team. Utilize EMR systems to document patient care accurately and efficiently. Adhere to unit policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Support patients' emotional well-being by acting as a compassionate advocate and resource. Float between multiple campuses as required, demonstrating flexibility in scheduling and location.

Obtain and maintain a valid RN license with current, active registration. Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience in rehab or medical-surgical settings. Demonstrate proficiency in wound care, blood draws, and IV therapy. Hold BLS certification; additional certifications are a plus. Exhibit strong communication skills, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset. Prefer candidates with previous rehab patient experience and familiarity with EMR systems.
