Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse II (RN) to provide specialized, high-quality nursing care to critically ill newborns in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have strong neonatal critical care skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, evidence-based, and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for critically ill neonates.
• Monitor neonatal vital signs, recognize changes in patient conditions, and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Provide specialized neonatal critical care and support stabilization and resuscitation procedures.
• Operate and monitor neonatal clinical equipment while maintaining patient safety.
• Educate and support parents and families throughout the care process.
• Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic health records.
• Follow infection prevention protocols, hospital policies, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in evidence-based practice, safety initiatives, and continuous quality improvement.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Level IV NICU .
• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Proficiency in neonatal clinical equipment, computers, and healthcare technology.
