Regional Truck Driver

Job Overview Are you a new CDL graduate looking for truck driver training? Drive with J.B. Hunt's Apprenticeship Program and receive on-the-job training and experience with an industry leader. Drivers in this program work with an experienced J.B. Hunt driver trainer for six weeks before transitioning to a full-time driving position upon successful completion. Job Details Drivers will be paid $200 per day during the training period. The training period is typically six weeks. Following training, drivers will transition to an activity-based pay plan that encourages safety, efficiency and strong work ethic. $0.66-$0.70 per mile No touch stop pay; $30 per stop Driver assist stop pay: $60 per stop Detention pay: $15 per hour Outsource work: $300-$400 per day New hire training daily pay: $20 per hour until 40 hours worked. $30 per hour for overtime Safety training pay: $15 per hour Holiday pay: $200 per day Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have achieved annualized earnings of $95,000 Weekly home time Onsite management Paid online orientation Driver Benefits PTO accrues from day one 401(k) with company match Eligible for medical, dental and vision coverage after just 30 days Access to life insurance options Access to mental health and disability benefits Additional Benefits for Full‑Time Positions (subject to eligibility) Medical benefit, dental benefit, vision benefit, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, paid time off commensurate with tenure (includes vacation and sick time), two weeks of paid parental leave, and six days with holiday pay.
