Registered Nurse - Nights - Kearney, NE

Location: Kearney, NE

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with the possibility of floating to PCU for MSU assignments.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsible for managing a maximum of 6 patients, the RN will perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Float to the PCU as required, unless telemetry trained.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current nursing license in Nebraska.
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC).
• NIHSS Certification.
