Sr Project Manager
Location - Hybrid- local to Chicago, IL
Duration - 6+ month contract
Interview Type - Video
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong personality, be able to handle stress, and be willing to advocate for the team
- Proven experience as a Sr Project Manager, preferably in the aviation industry or a comparable domain with large-scale in-house applications.
- Experience leading and coordinating software development projects
- Proficiency with PM tools (preferably Azure DevOps or JIRA) for managing project tasks, fragmentation, and consistency.
- Ability to work effectively with both onshore and offshore teams, maintaining open communication and coordination.
- Tolerance for a highly dynamic environment, where priorities can shift rapidly, and adaptability is key to success.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects in a stressful and high-pressure environment.
- Strong leadership skills and willingness to take ownership and accountability for team success.
Preferred Traits:
- Technical background or understanding of software development processes.
