Job Description At the TriHealth Heart Institute , scheduling coordinators play a critical role in patient care. You’re often the first voice patients hear—helping them access life‑saving cardiac services with compassion and precision. Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED in Healthcare (Required) Up to 1 year experience in Clerical Healthcare (Required) Clerical background General computer skills Knowledge of medical terminology Job Overview Performs clerical duties, interprets scheduling requests, schedules appointments and tests, maintains medical records, and coordinates scheduling within multiple departments across three sites. Communicates via Epic, Misys, Outlook, and other telecommunication devices. Job Responsibilities Demonstrate organizational skills managing participant appointments, tests, and procedures to ensure a smooth process. Provide strong customer service, using appropriate judgement during phone and in‑person interactions. Answer phone calls promptly and courteously; relay accurate messages to the appropriate person. Schedule participants for specialist and routine appointments both internally and externally with various providers. Coordinate scheduling within multiple departments, completing paperwork accurately and timely. Communicate appropriately with customers, transportation, and other departments. Retrieve medical records from outside providers and forward to the medical records department for scanning.
