Retail Service Specialist

Compensation Pay Range $11.41 - $20.30 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums, which may be paid per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Job Overview The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role also assumes shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Bilingual candidates are encouraged. Essential Job Functions Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including execution of customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.). Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy. Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure, using the electronic outside purchase order ledger. Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendlily, issue refunds accurately with correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise in the returns area correctly. Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store. Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned. Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedule; manage changes/deviations with management approval and tracking of clock‑in/out per policy. Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, securing deposits, preparing bank deposits, managing security lights and alarms, and securing delivery vehicles. All other duties as assigned.
