Senior Account Executive - Private Client Group (HNW Personal Lines)

To learn more, visit Summary The Senior Account Executive interacts with clients on a day‑to‑day basis while developing and maintaining relationships with both client and carrier representatives. The role involves preparing applications, specifications and marketing strategies for new business as well as renewals of assigned clients. This individual will act as lead consultant and primary point of contact for clients, working on large, complex accounts with significant premiums and multifaceted coverages. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Negotiate terms, conditions, coverage limits and pricing with carriers and wholesalers. Facilitate requests and needs of carriers on behalf of NFP's clients. Work with the Claims Department on relevant claims for assigned clients. Provide expertise in multi‑line accounts with complex coverages, including retrospective rating plans for large lines and foreign packages. Maintain a diary (follow‑up system) to ensure policies, endorsements and other information are received to comply with requests. Supervise and direct daily job activities of Coordinators, Account Managers and Account Executives. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients through regular contact and client visits. Keep clients apprised of industry trends and events, including state and federal regulatory issues. Knowledge, Skills, And/or Abilities Excellent written communication skills – clear writing, editing for spelling and grammar, varied writing style to meet needs, presentation of numeric data. Self‑confidence to make sound independent decisions. Ability to interact successfully with a variety of people and personalities. Strong leadership skills. Ability to read, analyze and reconcile financial reports. Technical expertise plus good analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous and professional manner. Education And/or Experience BA/BS preferred. Typically more than 8 years of industry and product line experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registration Property & Casualty Broker's License required. CIC, CPCU or other P&C designation preferred.
