Junior Business AnalystJob Type: 3 month contract to hire Location: hybrid in Philadelphia, PAWe are seeking a Business Analyst I to support business and technology initiatives across cross-functional teams. This role works closely with development teams and business partners to understand work in progress, document requirements, and translate technical efforts into clear, professional materials for internal stakeholders and occasional external audiences. This is an entry-level role, ideal for new graduates or early-career professionals who are analytical, collaborative, and eager to learn.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with development teams and business stakeholders to understand initiatives, requirements, and business processesGather, analyze, and document business and functional requirementsDefine scope and objectives based on user needs and process understandingAssist with process improvement efforts, including identification of gaps and root causesCreate clear documentation and communication materials (emails, presentations, summaries, reports)Translate technical concepts into business-friendly content for varied audiencesSupport project and department-level activities under general supervisionRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Systems, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related business-focused or analytical discipline (or equivalent experience)Strong written and verbal communication skillsSolid analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentBasic understanding of business analysis concepts, requirements documentation, and process mappingPreferred (Not Required) SkillsExposure to business analysis or technology projects through coursework, internships, or early career rolesFamiliarity with tools or concepts such as Figma, UX/UI basics, SQL, Visual Studio, or Agile/SDLCTechnical or analytical background is a plusIdeal CandidateEntry-level or junior professional (open to new college graduates)Highly trainable, detail-oriented, and collaborativeComfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong communicator able to present information clearly and concisely
