Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8.0 Shift

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes overseeing discipline-specific therapy services and ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration. As an educator, the Physical Therapist serves patients, families, students, and coworkers, while maintaining high professional standards and upholding organizational values.

Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records accurately and timely in compliance with guidelines.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision and evaluations.
• Create and pursue a professional development plan focused on growth and education.
• Adhere to applicable practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives and provide feedback for quality enhancements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Maintained professional licensure in good standing.
