Mid-Level Capital Markets/M&A Associate

Overview Holland & Knight is seeking a mid-level capital markets/M&A associate to join its Corporate M&A and Securities Practice. Responsibilities Applicants should have 3-5 years of experience with a variety of capital market transactions, as well as public company reporting and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience representing issuers in public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, interfacing with the SEC and other regulators, counseling public companies on disclosure, corporate governance, and SEC and stock exchange reporting and compliance matters, as well as preparation of Exchange Act filings such as Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and proxy statements. Additional experience with public and private company M&A is a strong plus. Candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a high degree of maturity and business sense, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships. Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience. JD from an ABA accredited law school. Must be licensed or ready to become licensed in the state of New York. Must reside in the New York City area at or prior to the time of hire. Should be able to work in the office at least three business days per week. Excellent academic credentials are required; large regional, national or international law firm experience is preferred. Compensation In accordance with Pay Transparency Laws, the pay range for this position in New York is $260,000 - $365,000/yr. This range is specific to this location and may not be applicable to other locations.
