Software Developer III

Responsibilities:

• Perform software development for legacy modernization projects using Natural, ADABAS, Oracle, and associated tools.
• Translate user stories and business requirements into technical specifications and data migration scripts.
• Develop new Oracle 19c table structures and scripts to move data from legacy environments.
• Support, patch, and upgrade legacy systems including Natural, ADABAS, and CONNX.
• Create database views to support Tableau dashboards and reporting.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and maintain documentation throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate effectively using Microsoft Teams and other communication platforms.
• Present technical concepts and outcomes to business stakeholders and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications: • 4+ years writing end-user documentation. • Experience with: oNearStar print management oEntireX by SoftwareAG oJava application environments Required Skills Required Skills: • 8+ years of software development experience, including both enhancement and ground-up projects. • 8+ years coding experience in: o Natural 8.3 oADABAS 6.5 oOracle 12c/19c oSQL oAttachmate EXTRA! oUnix AIX 7.2 oCronus Espbatch Job Scheduler oSCL (JCL equivalent) oSVN or other version control systems

• 8+ years supporting and upgrading legacy systems (Natural, ADABAS, CONNX).
• 8+ years translating user requirements into technical deliverables.
• 8+ years in full-cycle software development with a focus on documentation and testing.
• 3+ years experience working on Agile Scrum teams.
