Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT/X-Ray Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including computed tomography and radiography, to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. The role requires technical proficiency, patient interaction skills, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to acquire diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Recognize and adapt procedures based on patient age and clinical needs.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and patient information within the EMR system.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and interdepartmental staff to ensure timely and accurate imaging.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and radiation safety practices.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness, calibration, and optimal functioning at all times.

Qualifications:

• Have a minimum of 2 years current experience in Imaging, CT, and X-ray procedures.
• Possess ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• Hold a valid New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy license or equivalent.
• Demonstrate proficiency with MediTech, Philips, Siemens, AGFA DR, OEC C-arm, and related imaging software and hardware.
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to clinical environments.
• Maintain current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
