Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) | Asheville, NC

Location: Asheville, NC
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: Monday – Friday

Pay Package

• Weekly Gross Pay: $2,968.00
• W2 Taxable Rate: $39.20/hour
• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipend: $1,400.00

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 Years of Recent CVOR/Critical Care Experience
• BLS Certification (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Preferred Experience

• Pre-Op Cardiovascular Experience
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• BCMA knowledge and strong documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Large-bore IV starts
• Medication administration
• Skin assessments and patient preparation
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
• Transport patients to the OR
• Assist with induction, intubation, positioning, and surgical prep
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiovascular surgical teams

Additional Details

• On-call requirement: Stay late approximately 1–2 times per week
• Floating may be required within scope of practice and experience
• Critical care experience required
• Scrubs provided by facility
