Diesel and HVAC Technician


Our client, one of the fastest-growing companies in its industry in the U.S., is looking for its next team member. This position is based out of Hubbard, OR.


Schedule: 7 am - 4 pm, Monday through Friday; on some days, you may have to work until 7 PM.


Availability: Once hired, you will be on call one weekend a month.


Overtime: Common and usually mandatory depending on workload, jobs, and breakdowns


Pay: $22-$25 for a Tech 1, and if a Tech 2 will consider higher pay rate


Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines, generators, heaters, air conditioners, and related rental equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and HVAC system issues
• Prepare equipment for rental, including testing and quality checks
• Document repairs, parts usage, and service records accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with branch staff to meet customer and operational needs
• Follow the company's safety policies and OSHA regulations at all times

Required Qualifications:

• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (for technicians who maintain, service, repair, or dispose of equipment that could release ozone-depleting refrigerants)
• 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pump and power equipment
• Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, shoring, diesel equipment, air compressors, and diagnostic software
• Reliable and able to communicate with customers effectively
