Our organization, located in the picturesque town of Rockport, Maine, is actively looking for an Otolaryngologist to become part of our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to engage with a varied patient demographic, addressing issues such as hearing loss, balance disorders, snoring, and sleep apnea in individuals ranging from children to adults.

The position encompasses a blend of outpatient consultations and surgical procedures, allowing for both office visits and necessary surgeries. Our Otolaryngologists collaborate closely with the Audiology team to provide care for patients in the coastal regions. The services currently offered include:

• Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy for managing pediatric sleep apnea, snoring, and chronic infections.
• Medical and surgical interventions for both children and adults suffering from chronic otitis media, otitis externa, Eustachian tube dysfunction, and middle ear fluid.
• Endoscopic sinus surgery and medical management for patients with persistent and challenging sinus infections.
• Nasal and palate surgeries aimed at alleviating nasal obstruction, sleep apnea, and snoring.
• Assessment and treatment of gradual and sudden hearing loss, vertigo, and tinnitus.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree from a recognized medical institution.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license in the State of Maine, or the ability to secure one before starting.

• Board Certification or eligibility.

• Active and unrestricted DEA license, or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.

• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Compensation packages may also include recruitment bonuses, relocation support, productivity incentives, and quality bonuses, depending on eligibility. The annual base salary for this position is set at $450,000.
