What You'll Do
- Greet customers and provide a professional, positive service experience
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate shop workflow
- Create and communicate repair estimates
- Explain repair recommendations and maintenance needs in customer-friendly language
- Maintain communication with customers throughout the repair process
- Open, manage, and close repair orders accurately
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient job completion
- Monitor work progress and update customers on repair status
- Process invoices and collect payments
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records
- Help keep daily shop operations organized and running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, Customer Service Representative, or similar role Diesel, truck, automotive, agricultural equipment, or mechanical industry experience is a plus Experience working in a repair shop environment preferred
- Skills & Attributes Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organization and multitasking abilities Comfortable using computers, service software, and digital communication tools Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Professional attitude and positive team mindset Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers
