Qualifications Here's What You Need Qualifications Nursing Diploma (Nursing) required OR Associate's Degree Nursing required OR Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting preferred Operating Room experience highly preferred RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required CNOR Certified Operating Room Nurse upon hire preferred What You Will Do Texas Health's nursing theory is the Quality Caring Model developed by Dr. Joanne Duffy.
