Position Description

• Water services, blueprints, grade work, base, and pipework.
• Follow instructions from Superintendents/Project Managers.
• Document, plan and perform work activities independently.
• Hydrostat testing on water and reclaim, vacuum and air testing on sewer manholes, mud work on sewer, and storm manholes.
• Raise manhole ring and covers to grade and install valve cams.
• Water and reclaimed testing mud work around sewer and storm pipes raised manholes to grade and valve cams to grade.
• Efficient at multi-tasking and working under short time constraints.
• Assure that all safety and quality measures are taken.
• Supervise and train crew members
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• 5+ recent years' experience working as a working Service Foreman.
• Strong Supervisory and communicative skills (verbal and written) as well as basic computer knowledge.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Must have a safety-first attitude. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
• Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• A high school or general education degree (GED) is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• All work is performed outside in the heat, cold and inclement weather.
• Exposure to loud noises, fumes, odors, gasses, dust, etc.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
• Work in close proximity to heavy traffic.
• Frequently lifts and/or moves objects weighing up to 50 lbs., and occasionally objects weighing more than 50 lbs.
