HP Retail Sales Representative

Job Type: Regular Location: Best Buy 290 - Glen Burnie, MD 21061 Overview Become a Part‑Time HP Retail Sales Associate. Pay: $18.00 per hour. Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week, preferably Saturday and Sunday. Flexible Friday hours may be available based on location needs. Day‑in‑the‑Life (Responsibilities) Demonstrate HP products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their needs. Build rapport with customers and establish professional relationships with store management and staff. Train retail store associates on HP products and services. Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality and demo readiness. Report competitive insights and performance metrics. Maintain a professional, friendly, and organized workstation or kiosk at all times. Accurately document and report sales and track all activity to Retail Operations. Submit all required paperwork fully and accurately. Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum six (6) months of prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience. Problem‑solving, tech‑savvy and outgoing personality with a desire to learn. Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products after training. Ability to move through a selling process that overcomes objections and addresses customer needs. Retail or customer‑service experience in electronics, tech or wireless is a plus. One‑year general job experience required. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Can multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment.
