Data EngineerLocation: Onsite - 3 days/week (Raleigh, NC, Cupertino, CA, Austin, TX) Duration: 6+ monthsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS8+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying next-generation analytical data productsStrong hands-on experience in SQL, Spark, and Scala, and data pipeline toolsExperience in data modeling and analytics is a plusPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong hands-on experience with SQL, Spark, and Scala in a production environmentExperience building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines with a focus on scalability, performance, reliability, and data qualityExperience with modern data platforms and lakehouse technologies (e.g., Iceberg, Trino, Superset)Good understanding of data modeling, analytics, and metric designGood problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex data issues and derive actionable insightsExposure to AI/ML, recommendation systems, feature engineering, GenAI, RAG, or other AI-powered data products is a strong plus—role is not exclusively AI-focused
