Unit Highlights

Join a dynamic team in a progressive environment, providing critical care services in Fort Worth, TX. This position is in the 4W & 4E PCU/CVPCU unit, focusing on patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Position Details

Shift: 7A - 7:30P
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: No
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Qualifications

Required Skills: Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

ACLS Certification
BLS Certification
2+ Years of Hospital Experience
Cardiovascular Experience

Preferred Skills: Candidates with the following experience will be prioritized:

Experience with Meditech documentation system

Specialty Certifications

Active Texas RN License is required (temporary licenses will not be accepted).

Procedures Performed on Unit

Cardiac Catheterizations
Post Operative Care for Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABGs)

Dress Code

All staff members are expected to adhere to the following dress code:

Scrub Color: Royal blue with appropriate embroidery
Nail Policy: Clean and healthy nails; no artificial or gel nails
Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if long
Tattoos: To be covered whenever possible
Piercings: Only ear piercings are permitted; all others should be removed

Floating Policy

Staff may be required to float to a sister step-down unit or medical-surgical units with adjusted assignments as necessary.

Attendance Policy

All employees must adhere to the company-wide attendance policy.
