Security Dispatcher

Pay rate: $18.34 per hour/ Full Time. Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position. You will be on call 1 week of each month after completion of new hire training Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls for Tribal Security and Tribal EMS. Primary Tasks: 1. Using a computer aided dispatch system, receives and logs calls for service, determine priorities, and dispatches necessary Security or on-site EMS units in accordance with established procedures. 2. Maintains contact with all units on duty; maintains status and location of Security and EMS Units. 3. Assists the Supervisor in training, direction, coordination, and evaluation of the activities of trainees. 4. Answers non-emergency calls for assistance 5. Perform other duties as may be assigned. Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently possess or can obtain and maintain certification as required
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, multitasking ability, and time

management skills. * Ability to work independently with minimum direction and communicate with groups and or individuals quickly and effectively both orally and in writing. * Must have knowledge of and ability to work with appropriate hardware and software. * Previous dispatch experience preferred but not required About the Choctaw Nation The Choctaw Nation is the third-largest Indian nation in the United States, with over 200,000 tribal members and more than 11,000 employees.
